Diaw totaled five points (1-3 FG, 3-4 FT), two rebounds and a steal over 14 minutes in Wednesday's 111-110 preseason loss to the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
Diaw logged another starting assignment with Derrick Favors (knee) sitting out once again, but as has been the case in the previous three preseason games, played limited minutes before heading to the bench. The veteran big man's playing time will be carefully managed throughout the exhibition slate, given that his body of work and what he's capable of offering has long been established throughout his 13 seasons. Once the regular season commences, Diaw is likely to receive a similar dose of playing time as he serves as Rudy Gobert's primary backup at the five, while also slotting in a rung lower on the power forward pecking order behind Favors and Trey Lyles.
