Derrick Caracter believes that the Lakers will pick up his $788,872 option for the 2011-12 season. "I'm pretty confident that they'll pick it up based on our conversations [in my exit interview]," Caracter said. He averaged just two points as a rookie and would likely remain buried on the bench if he returns to the Lakers.
