Dellavedova turned in another well-rounded box score in Monday's win over the 76ers, finishing with 12 points (5-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine assists, and five rebounds over 34 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Despite coming off the bench, Dellavedova played more minutes than any other Cavs player, as J.R. Smith's early exit due to a right knee contusion paved the way for more playing time at shooting guard. While working alongside Mo Williams for much of the affair, Dellavedova proved to be the more adept setup men of the two, and has now contributed a surprising 19 assists over his last two games. Even if Smith's injury doesn't end up sidelining him for extended time, the long-term absences of Kyrie Irving (knee) and Iman Shumpert (wrist) will allow Dellavedova to see close to 25 minutes per game, which could be enough playing time for him to make an impact for those in deep leagues.
