Dellavedova failed to record a point (0-2 FG) and added five assists, one rebound and one steal across 27 minutes in a 102-89 win over the Pistons on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Dellavedova has started the last 12 games at shooting guard over Malcolm Brogdon, but the move to the top unit has often come with volatile playing time and production. The 26-year-old has been more bad than good of late, averaging 5.3 points (on 40% shooting from the field), 4.7 assists and 1.3 rebounds over 24.7 minutes per game in February. With Khris Middleton returning from a hamstring injury last week that had previously sidelined him all season, he's been eased back into the rotation in a bench role, but it's expected that he'll eventually displace Dellavedova or Tony Snell in the starting five. Even if it's Snell that ends up getting the boot, Dellavedova still seems bound to see his playing time take a hit, which might be enough to make him a drop candidate in deeper leagues where he's rostered.
