Dawson was assigned to the D-League's Grand Rapids Drive on Sunday, Rowan Kavner of Clippers.com reports.

This move by the Clippers doesn't come as much of a surprise, as the rookie forward would likely continue not seeing meaningful minutes in his call-up. Dawson will be able to progess with additional run in the D-League, but could again be recalled at times throughout the season if the Clippers find themselves with multiple injuries.
