Darren Collison will opt of of the second year of his two-year deal, according to Arash Markazi of ESPN.com. There were some other smaller reports that he will opt in, but majority of the reports say he's opting out and will become an unrestricted free agent. Collison was terrific after the break last season, averaging 14.2 points, 3.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.2 triples on 47.1 percent from the field. He was a flop as a starter with the Pacers and Mavericks earlier in his career, but he might get a chance to start somewhere else.
