Darren Collison said he "wants to be on a championship team" and will play in any role the Clippers choose. "I felt like playing with the Clippers was an opportunity to win now," Collison said. "I couldn't care less how old I am or how young I am, I want to win now. Regardless, if I come off the bench or however many minutes they want to play me, I want to be on a championship team." He signed a two-year deal with the second year being a player option last month and will be on the second unit. Collison was one of the league's best backup point guards behind Chris Paul back in 2009-10, but his career has been a mild disappointment since. He's unlikely to match his 29.3 minutes per game from last season.
