Darren Collison reiterated that he views himself as a starting point guard. Collison gave a half-hearted endorsement when asked if he wanted to return to Dallas as a restricted free agent. When asked if he'd return in a reserve role, he offered, "I'm not going to say no, because I definitely experienced it, and I'm capable of playing off the bench. At the same time, I just know who I am as a person and as a player. I'm capable of playing for any team as a starter."
