EDGE Analysis
Allen's hot start to the season continued, as the Bucks were shorthanded with three regular starters sidelined. While he was inefficient from the field overall, he stayed hot from beyond the arc by increasing his season average to 43.0 percent. He is doing what he was brought in for when the Bucks traded Sam Merrill and a couple second-round picks for him in the offseason. The Duke product is third in the league in three pointers made (49) behind just Stephen Curry (64) and Buddy Hield (54). It remains to be seen if he will stay in the starting lineup when Donte DiVincenzo (ankle) returns, but it seems likely the team will want him to play as many minutes alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo as possible, given his standing as the team's sharpshooter.
