Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins said Wednesday that Smart (finger) isn't yet practicing with the team and is still considered week-to-week, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Smart has not played since Dec. 21 due to a partial tear of the proximal extensor hood of his right index finger. While he hasn't resumed taking part in drills with the Grizzlies, Smart has been able to do some individual work on the court. He can safely be ruled out for the Grizzlies' remaining two games this week, and it wouldn't be surprising if his absence extends beyond next week.
