Conley (face) will not play in Wednesday's Game 5 against the Trail Blazers, Blazers' digital reporter Casey Holdahl reports. Conley underwent facial surgery in Memphis on Monday after taking an inadvertent elbow to the face from C.J. McCollum in Game 3. Titanium plates and screwers were inserted into Conley's face to stabilize the fractures, and he's not expected to fully heal for another 4-6 weeks. It sounds like the Grizzlies, who could close out Portland on Wednesday night, expect to have him back well before then, however they have not offered a timetable. Conley will likely don a mask upon his return.
