Conley (Achilles) contributed 16 points (5-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), seven assists, four rebounds, two steals, and two blocks across 31 minutes during the Grizzlies' 100-94 loss to the Trail Blazers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Conley has dealt with some soreness in his Achilles recently, but it has not stopped him from putting up quality stats through the first couple weeks of the season. After being listed as questionable heading into Sunday's tilt, it was encouraging to see him look as spry as he did. Furthermore, coach David Fizdale has already shown a willingness to rest his veterans, so it seems as if Conley is officially in the clear here. The two-man game between Conley and Marc Gasol is the Grizzlies' bread and butter, so expect the 29-year-old guard to keep delivering nice numbers in the team's new high-octane offense.
