Coach Fred Hoiberg acknowledged Thursday that while McDermott (concussion) is showing improvement with his condition, he's "still having symptoms," ESPN.com's Nick Friedell reports.
EDGE Analysis
McDermott has been sidelined for the entirety of the Bulls' six-game road trip and will likely be reevaluated once the team returns to Chicago following Friday's game against the 76ers. Since the 24-year-old has already endured two separate concussions within the last month, McDermott may be held to more stringent standards as he looks to advance through the NBA's concussion protocol, but for the time being, he'll aim to get back on the court when the Bulls play their next home game Nov. 30 against the Lakers.
