Coach Erik Spoelstra has said nothing new on Whiteside (knee), Jason Lieser of The Palm Beach Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside has yet to do any on-court work since spraining what is thought to be his MCL on the right side in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semi Finals against the Raptors. He has missed two straight games as a result and doesn't look to be healthy enough to play for the rest of the series. Coach Spoelstra said that he doesn't expect to have Whiteside available for Game 6 on Friday, which means that Amar'e Stoudemire will probably start in place of the injured Whiteside, while Josh McRoberts, Udonis Haslem, and Justise Winslow will most likely be asked to pick up extra minutes off the bench.
