Chris Duhon said "I want to play," when asked about how he sees his role with the Lakers. Acquired in the Dwight Howard trade, Duhon is expecting to play and not simply sit on the bench. With Steve Blake (foot) sidelined to begin training camp, Duhon will have a serious opportunity to cement himself as a reliable backup behind Steve Nash. "I want to be in the rotation," Duhon said. He spent the offseason improving his quickness, dropped 10 lbs, worked on his shooting and ball-handling.
