Cartier Martin started in place of DeMarre Carroll (illness) in Saturday's game vs. the Wizards, scoring 13 points with four boards, two assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers. The Hawks don't seem to be very confident in playing Mike Scott at small forward and their guards are too small to play there as well, so Martin got some run tonight. Carroll doesn't project to miss much time which makes Martin a bit of an undesirable guy in most situations.
