Calderon, who clears waivers Saturday evening, is drawing interest from the Hawks, Marc Stein of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Calderon was waived by the Lakers earlier in the week after falling out of the rotation in early December. He was then signed and immediately waived by the Warriors, as the team needed to use his intended roster spot to sign Matt Barnes in light of Kevin Durant's injury. The veteran point guard is still eligible to play in the playoffs and should find a spot in the Hawks' rotation behind starter Dennis Schroder. He'll have to compete with current backup Malcolm Delaney for minutes, but the veteran's experience could give him an edge. Look for more updates on the official roster move to come Saturday after 5 PM ET, when Calderon officially clears waivers.
