Calderon scored 20 points (6-10 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go with four rebounds, four assists, and a steal over 33 minutes in a 108-105 loss to the Pacers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
After interim coach Kurt Rambis hinted that Calderon may not be long for the team's starting lineup, the 34-year-old posted one of his best performances of the season. On the heels of a dismal even-game stretch in which he averaged 6.4 points with 0.4 steals, Calderon reached 20 points for just the second time all season. While Wednesday's performance likely earned him a temporary reprieve from demotion talks, Calderon will need sustained performance to maintain minutes over Langston Galloway, Jerian Grant, or Jimmer Fredette.
