Lorenzo Brown
PG FA
Brown appeared in 29 games for the Timberwolves in 2014-15, averaging 4.2 points, 3.1 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 18.9 minutes.
Brown, who spent part of last season with the 76ers before suffering a wrist injury, began 2014-15 in training camp with the Pistons. He then moved to the Grand Rapids Drive of the D-League before being signed to a 10-day deal by the Timberwolves in late-January. Expected to primarily provide depth, Brown ended up starting seven contests and routinely playing significant minutes due to a rash of injuries to the Wolves' backcourt. With Ricky Rubio banged up after the All-Star break, Brown played at least 16 minutes in 11 straight games, including a five-game stretch at the end of March in which he averaged 36.6 minutes. The former North Carolina State standout has intriguing size for the position, but he is yet to prove he can shoot a decent percentage from the field, and his range is extremely limited. Through his first two professional seasons, Brown is shooting only 15.5 percent from three (9-of-58).
