Brian Roberts started against the Mavericks on Wednesday and had 13 points, three boards, six assists and two 3-pointers in 42 minutes during a 99-87 loss. He proved to be one of the better backups in the NBA and was able to show what he could do with Greivis Vasquez dealing with an ankle injury. GV is in the running for Most Improved Player and Roberts isn't likely to unseat him in the near future.
