Brandon Roy has decided to try a new treatment for his ailing right knee, in the hopes that he can resume his NBA career. It will take 3-4 weeks before Roy or the Wolves know whether the treatment is effective, and there's still a chance he'll retire. He's owed $5 million this season, but because he can't appear on the active list 65 times and won't play 1,400 minutes, the Wolves are off the hook for the second year of his contract.
