Brandon Bass was thrust into action with Jared Sullinger (back) going down and he had 12 points, four boards and three steals in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 99-81 win over the Kings. Sullinger could miss some time with the injury since back spasms have been an issue before. Although. Bass' value should be viewed more of a short-term boost, so we wouldn't cut anyone important to get him.
