Booker will sit out Wednesday's game against the Bulls for rest, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Nets are going to rest a group of veterans in their regular-season finale, which will allow the coaching staff to evaluate some of the younger talent on the team. With Booker out specifically, we could see more of both Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Justin Hamilton at power forward. Booker finishes his 2016-17 campaign playing in 71 games, including 43 starts, while averaging 10.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 steals across 24.7 minutes. Look for Booker to be back with the Nets next season on a $9.1 million contract.
