Blue is expected to be signed by the Lakers for the final two games of this season, Yahoo! Sports reports. Blue spent a 10-day stint with the Celtics last season, but after failing to stick in Boston, the combo guard rebounded with a tremendous D-League campaign this season. To that point, Blue averaged 23.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists for the Los Angeles D-Fenders, which surely caught the attention of the nearby Lakers. With just a couple games left, Blue will be provided the opportunity to play alongside fellow call-up Jabari Brown on the Lakers, as he looks toward earning a roster spot somewhere next season.
