Blake logged time in all but one game in the 2014-15 season, averaging 4.3 points (on 37 percent shooting), 3.6 assists, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.0 three-pointers in 19 minutes. Making his third turn with the Blazers in his 12-year career, Blake filled the role of Damian Lillard's backup capably for much of the season, but the veteran point guard's production fell off a cliff as the playoffs approached. From Apr. 1 through the Blazers' exit from the postseason, Blake was held scoreless six times in 13 appearances. In particular, his touch from three-point range fell apart -- he shot 25 percent (8-for-32) from beyond the arc during that stretch -- but the run also coincided with CJ McCollum's emergence as an offensive revelation. If Blake exercises his player option in the offseason, as expected, a large portion of his minutes could transfer to McCollum, depending upon how Wesley Matthews' (Achilles) unrestricted free agency proceeds.
