Bentil was most recently waived by the Celtics and the team missed out on an opportunity to keep Bentil within the franchise by assigning him to their D-League affiliate. The Pacers will now likely attempt to keep Bentil in the D-League themselves, as they don't currently have room on their roster currently to keep the forward out of Providence for the start of the regular season.
