Bennett scored eight points with three rebounds in 18 minutes in Friday's loss to Oklahoma City. He played over 15 minutes for the first time in two games. "AB has practiced really hard," head coach Flip Saunders told the St. Paul Pioneer Press. "He's done everything. Sometimes, it's just the situation where we are at and who we have on the floor more than anything else. He'll have opportunities." Bennett played 18 minutes while Jeff Adrien played just five minutes Friday. Adrien's growing role off the bench may at times limit Bennett's minutes. It sounds like Bennett isn't in Saunders' dog house like a week ago, but his playing may continue to be inconsistent.
