Barnes posted 25 points (9-19 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two steals across 38 minutes in Wednesday's 100-95 loss to the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
With guard Wesley Matthews sidelined with a hip injury, Barnes was the focal point of the Mavs offense leading all scorers in the game. His three made three-pointers were his most since early January. The fourth-year forward out of North Carolina has been a consistent option at forward all season, and with the Mavs clearly looking to develop their younger players he should continue to post steady scoring stats moving forward.
