The Rockets recalled Garuba from the G League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Monday, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Though he's back with the Rockets after a brief stay in the G League to pick up playing time, Garuba isn't expected to be featured regularly in the NBA rotation. He's appeared in seven of the Rockets' 19 games to date, averaging 1.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 6.4 minutes.
