Ayon scored 16 points and 16 rebounds in the championship game as the Mexico defeated Puerto Rico 74-60. He seems to be healed from a shoulder injury that ended his season early with the Hawks. Ayon shot 51 percent from the field but only averaged about 17 minutes per game in 26 games. He is currently a free agent, so this performance could help him find a home for next year.
