Monroe will be available for Monday's game against the Celtics, Dane Moore of BringMeTheNews.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Wolves signed Monroe just over 24 hours ago, but he's joined the team in Minneapolis and will be available to play Monday as the team deals with a number of COVID-related absences. With Naz Reid and Karl-Anthony Towns among those absences, Monroe could be pressed into action right away as Minnesota plays on the first half of a back-to-back set. Monroe last played in the NBA during the 2018-19 season, splitting time with the Celtics, 76ers and Raptors. Prior to joining the Timberwolves, Monroe was playing in the G League for the Capital City Go-Go.
