Andrew Bynum said on Monday that his left knee still hurts when he walks, but his right knee feels good and he does intend to play this season. Bynum acknowledged the "possibility" that doctors will tell him to shut it down for the year, but he sounded quite optimistic about his appointment to have an MRI on Dec. 20. "Worst-case scenario, it's another month [after the MRI]," said Bynum. "Best-case scenario, I can wrap it up." The fact that walking causes him pain suggests he's still a good distance from returning, but owners in deep leagues, or with 'injured reserve' spots, should consider stashing him in the hopes that he returns and is motivated by a contract year.
