Andrew Bynum felt pain in his left knee after working out on Sunday, and he's uncertain if he'll be able to return in February.

In his latest clear-as-mud interview, Bynum admitted that he might have to play through pain and said that his left knee "is not ready yet." He has stated that he has arthritis in his knees, that he is missing cartilage which "is not going to regrow itself," and that the real test will be taking contact and cutting on his balky knees. There's sufficient reason for skepticism about his return, and Bynum's up-in-the-air return date makes Spencer Hawes and Lavoy Allen safer options.
