Andrew Bynum and the Lakers have "not yet engaged" in discussions about a long-term contract extension, a source tells ESPN Los Angeles. Bynum officially had his $16.1 million contract option picked up by the team on Monday, and the Lakers have already said that they plan to have Bynum in the fold for a long time. Bynum's camp "anticipated" that talks on a long-term deal would ensue at some point in the offseason. Bynum had a career season with averages of 18.7 points, 11.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks.
