Andrei Kirilenko (back spasms) will not play on Wednesday, but he's hopeful to return for the Nets' home game vs. the Heat on Friday. He wants to make it through a 5-on-5 scrimmage before taking the court in a game. It's been 15 days since the back injury occurred and owners can only hope that the rest, coupled with reduced minutes off the bench, keeps him healthy long-term.
