Anderson produced 14 points (7-14 FG), three rebounds, three assists and two steals over 29 minutes in Friday's 119-113 victory over the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson received a second consecutive spot start in Kawhi Leonard's (calf) stead, and managed to provide even better production than in Thursday's outing. The promising second-year pro was much more aggressive with his shot, and wasn't lacking on the defensive end either. He recorded a pair of steals for the third straight game, and appears to be another solid find for a franchise that has excelled at personnel acquisition over the last decade-plus. While he'll immediately return to a reserve role as soon as Leonard gets back on the court, Anderson is gaining invaluable experience during these starting opportunities.
