Andersen (shoulder) is progressing in his recovery and is expected to return to the court at some point this week.
EDGE Analysis
It's a rare bit of good news for the Grizzlies, who have seen their frontcourt in particular suffer significant losses due to injury of late. Zach Randolph (knee) has since returned to action to reclaim the starting power forward spot, and Andersen figures to displace Ryan Hollins as the starting center once he's cleared to return. Prior to suffering the left shoulder subluxation, Andersen typically saw his playing time capped around the 20-minute mark, so he'll likely have to share the load a bit with Hollins, JaMychal Green, and Jarell Martin upon getting back on the court.
