Allen picked up 11 points (4-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block across 34 minutes in Saturday's 110-107 win over the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
The 34 minutes were a season high for Allen, who has faced some restrictions since returning from a groin injury six games ago. It appears the Grizzlies are comfortable leaning heavily on Allen now though, as the ample playing time he received Saturday came on the second half of a back-to-back set. With the Grizzlies down two of their better wings in Chandler Parsons (knee) and James Ennis (calf) for at least one more week, Allen shouldn't have much difficulty clearing 30 minutes more regularly over the next handful of games. It could be enough to give him value in very deep leagues thanks to his efforts in the rebounds and steals categories, but high-end production shouldn't be expected.
