Allen was able to play in Tuesday's matchup with the Timberwolves, but was inefficient from the field, making 2-of-7 shot attempts for four points, four rebounds, and a steal in 19 minutes. It may take a little bit for the veteran guard to shake off the rust before he's trusted with more minutes again. Allen may have a similar role Wednesday if he plays, as Vince Carter and Andrew Harrison have done a good job of filling in for him while he recovers.
