After going through a pregame workout, Whiteside (thigh) says he will play in Monday's Game 4 against the Hornets, Jason Lieser of the Palm Beach Post reports.

Whiteside has been bothered by a thigh bruise suffered late in Saturday's Game 3, but after resting Sunday and receiving treatment the big man will be available Monday night. Whiteside figures to start at his usual center spot, and he could see an expanded role with Charlotte again going with a larger starting lineup. Despite the thigh injury, Whiteside played a series-high 34 minutes in Game 3, finishing with 13 points, 18 rebounds, and four blocks.
