Adams (knee) is expected to be waived by the Grizzlies on Saturday, Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
The former first-round pick appeared in only 32 games over his first two years in Memphis while battling chronic issues with his right knee. He underwent a cartilage transplant in June, which sidelined him throughout the summer and into training camp. While Adams said he anticipated returning at some point during the season, he'll have to seek a new home, as the Grizzlies have instead opted to keep undrafted rookie Troy Williams on the 15-man roster.
