Acting Rockets coach Kelvin Sampson said that Jeremy Lin was benched for the majority of the fourth quarter on Wednesday because Toney Douglas was "a much better matchup with Nate [Robinson]." Lin is in the midst of a brutal shooting slump (28.8 percent in his last seven games), which makes it harder to justify having him on the floor late. Chances are that his fourth quarter minutes won't be a major issue once his offense comes around. It's worth noting that Lin's 26 minutes on Wednesday marked just the second time all season that he played less than 30 minutes in a game.

Yup, im a Knicks fan too..I wasnt sold on 2-3 weeks of linsanity, the only reason he was hot for those few weeks was because Melo and Amare werent playing, somebody had to score when the big 2 were hurt. And then when Melo and Amare came back Lin got a big head from the media and didnt want the role of being a point guard who was suppose to dish the rock to the studs..

Felton>>>Lin.

Steve BLAKE >>>> LIN

toney Douglas >>>>> Lin

Prigioni >>> Lin

If Lin runs DANTONI ball... Where he can just take as many shots as he wants and p,Amy's absolutely no defense at all... He is decent.. Definitely a suitable backup caliber point guard.. Otherwise, he's a third stringer or a d leaguer... He would be a super star in china though
