A source told Chris Vernon that the Grizzlies are evaluating five guards and are expected to sign one for the playoff push. The five guards are Keyon Dooling, Jonny Flynn, Courtney Fourtson, Sundiata Gaines and Scott Machado. The Grizzlies could use a veteran presence at the point, so adding someone like Dooling or Gaines might make more sense than the others.
