76ers big man Daniel Orton picked up a DNP-CD on Friday after starting the Sixers' previous two games. His temporary surge into the starting lineup came with Spencer Hawes (knee) and Thaddeus Young (personal) both unavailable, and anyone who picked him up should obviously cut him. Asked about Orton's DNP, coach Brett Brown responded, "Part of the NBA. You've got so many bigs. It's horses for courses, depending on who you're playing."
