Okoro (hamstring) will not play Monday against Charlotte.
EDGE Analysis
Okoro continues to nurse a strained left hamstring, and Monday will mark his fourth straight absence. There's been no indication that he's close to returning, so it wouldn't be surprising if he misses a few more games as Cleveland heads into a four-game Week 3.

Okoro (hamstring), who is listed as out for Saturday's game against the Suns, had his third-year club option picked up by the Cavaliers on Saturday, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The No. 5 overall pick from 2020 has struggled offensively early in his career, notably shooting just 28.8 percent from distance. However, he has shown great defensive potential, making it an easy decision for the Cavaliers to pick up the $7.04 million option. Okoro will be sidelined for a third straight game Saturday.

Okoro (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday's contest against the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
Okoro will miss his second straight game due to the hamstring injury. Lamar Stevens played a season-high 21 minutes during Okoro's absence Wednesday, so he may be in line for another extended outing off the bench against the Lakers on Friday.

Okoro (hamstring) is out for Wednesday's matchup with the Clippers, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Okoro is dealing with a hamstring strain and will miss his first game of the season. He has been a solid contributor off the bench averaging 7.0 points and 2.8 rebounds through the first four games of the year. The second-year forward should be considered questionable for Friday's game against the Lakers. Cedi Osman and Denzel Valentine should see more opportunities in his absence.

Okoro is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Clippers with a left hamstring strain, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Okoro apparently picked up the injury Monday against the Nuggets when he had four points (2-5 FG), two rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals in 28 minutes. Cedi Osman could have an increased role in his expected absence.

Okoro posted four points (2-5 FG), two rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals across 28 minutes off the bench during Cleveland's 99-87 win over the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year Auburn product trailed only Jarrett Allen and Darius Garland in minutes played. Although his overall usage has gone down slightly, his true-shooting percentage and player efficiency rating have increased. Still just 20 years old, Okoro is more valuable to the Cavaliers than to fantasy managers for the time being.

Okoro will come off the bench for Wednesday's season opener against the Grizzlies, Evan Dammarell of Locked On Cavs reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Cavs will go with somewhat of a non-traditional lineup featuring three seven-footers, as Lauri Markkanen gets the nod at small forward over Okoro. He'll be joined by Jarrett Allen, rookie Evan Mobley, Collin Sexton and Darius Garland.

Okoro averaged 5.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals in 19.0 minutes during his five preseason appearances.
EDGE Analysis
Okoro is a defensive-minded player taken with the fifth overall pick in 2020, but his poor shooting hampers his upside. He shot just 29.0 percent from three last season and shot 28.6 percent from three this preseason. The Cavaliers are desperately thin at small forward, so Okoro may simply be on the court for 30-plus minutes out of necessity. However, at 6-foot-5, he's undersized for the position, and it's hard to slide him down to shooting guard when Collin Sexton is around.
