He ended up taking on a key role down the stretch for an Orlando squad that was without several players due to injury, appearing in eight games in total while averaging 11.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 three-pointers in 29.1 minutes per contest. Assuming the Magic's primary options on the wing stay relatively healthy in 2021-22, Brazdeikis should see the bulk of his playing time in the G League during the upcoming campaign.

Brazdeikis scored a career-high 21 points (9-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt) while adding six rebounds, two blocks and an assist in 32 minutes off the bench during Friday's loss to the 76ers.

It was an awful night for the Magic's starting five, with the unit only managing a combined 31 points, but that opened the door for Brazdeikis to lead all scorers in the game. The second-year forward has dropped double-digit points in three of seven games since taking on a significant role in the Orlando rotation, averaging 11.4 points, 4.7 boards, 1.7 assists and 1.3 threes in 28.4 minutes over that stretch.

Brazdeikis struggled with a couple of injuries in the G League bubble, but he was outstanding when he was on the court for Westchester. The 22-year-old registered 20.8 points, 9.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game while connecting on 46.8 percent of his field goals. The 2019 second-round pick hasn't been able to get his footing at the NBA level, but he'll undoubtedly return to a depth role with the Knicks soon.

Brazdeikis (back) recorded 22 points (8-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds and eight assists across 35 minutes in Thursday's 122-120 loss to G League Agua Caliente.

Brazdeikis missed Tuesday's loss to G League Memphis with a back injury, but he showed no ill effects Thursday, leading the team in points, rebounds and assists. That's been standard for the 22-year-old forward. He's the G League squad's MVP with 20.7 points and 10.0 rebounds per contest.
