Whiteside had combined for just 29 points across the last four games combined, but he matched his season high scoring total in this one. The 29-year-old big man has accumulated 30 double-doubles across 53 appearances this season, this compared to 28 in 54 appearances in 2017-18. His career-best mark (58 in 77 games during 2016-17) is out of the question, but Whiteside remains a nightly double-double threat nonetheless.

Whiteside posted a monster double-double, though his efforts weren't enough to overcome the Pistons in Saturday's loss. His production has been inconsistent this season, as Saturday's double-double was his first in four games after recording one in five straight prior to that. Whiteside has enormous potential, but he can't seem to string together consistent production on a nightly basis.

Whiteside produced 13 points (6-13 FG, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds and three assists across 22 minutes in the Heat's 120-118 loss to the Warriors on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

Whiteside tied Kelly Olynyk for fewest minutes on the starting five, but he made excellent use of them. The big man extended a stretch of ultra-efficient production with Sunday's performance, as he now has five double-doubles in as many February games, despite not playing more than 31 minutes in any. Whiteside has actually accomplished the feat in eight of the last nine games overall, and Sunday's contest snapped a streak of eight consecutive contests with at least one block. He'll look to continue churning out stellar numbers versus the Nuggets on Monday night.

Whiteside provided 28 points (11-12 FG, 6-7 FT), 11 rebounds, four steals and two blocks across 30 minutes in the Heat's 118-108 win over the Trail Blazers on Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

Whiteside stepped his game up significantly in what was a tough road matchup from both a team and individual perspective. The 29-year-old consistently got the best of Jusuf Nurkic and also goaded the Blazers big man into some foul trouble, all while posting his second-best point total of the campaign. Whiteside has been on an upswing lately, ripping off three straight double-doubles to open February and accomplishing the feat in six of his last seven games overall.

Whiteside finished with 19 points (9-13 FG, 1-5 FT), 14 rebounds, one steal and a block across 31 minutes in the Heat's loss to the Pacers on Saturday.

EDGE Analysis

Whiteside recorded his second straight game of at least 12 points and 12 rebounds in Saturday's loss. That's the fifth time in six games he's accomplished that feat. Whiteside is one of the league's best rebounders (12.4 per game) and as long as he's crashing the boards with consistency, he'll maintain his fantasy value.

Whiteside generated eight points (3-6 FG, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds and a block over 15 minutes in the Heat's loss to the Bulls on Wednesday.

EDGE Analysis

Whiteside played his second-fewest minutes of the season, and he broke his streak of three straight double-doubles. His last three games (15.7 points, 15.3 rebounds) represent his high ceiling, but his minutes seem to be trending downward and his inconsistent offensive output makes his fantasy production unreliable night-to-night.

Whiteside provided 13 points (6-10 FG, 1-2 FT), 16 boards, three blocks and two assists across 24 minutes Sunday in the Heat's 106-97 win over the Knicks.

EDGE Analysis

Whiteside has played half the minutes or fewer at center in the Heat's past two games, but it hasn't prevented him from rattling off double-doubles, as he's now notched three in a row. His dismal shooting from the free-throw line is far and away the biggest eyesore on his fantasy profile, but he's at least only had nine attempts (making five) over this three-game stretch.

Whiteside scored 14 points (6-10 FG, 2-2 FT) while adding 13 rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block in 22 minutes during Friday's 100-94 win over the Cavaliers.

EDGE Analysis

Bam Adebayo ended up seeing more court time on the night, but Whiteside still grabbed his 22nd double-double of the season. The center is well on his way to averaging a double-double for the fifth straight year, but his overall fantasy value will remain a bit constrained along with his minutes.
