Allen had 20 points (6-14 FG, 4-10 3PT, 4-4 FT) and four rebounds in Sunday's loss to Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
After battling injuries for much of the year, Allen has emerged as a key role player in Orlando, with Sunday marking his fifth straight game with double-digit scoring. Allen doesn't add much in other categories, though he's averaging 4.0 made threes over his last five contests.

Allen posted 20 points (7-10 FG, 6-8 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes during Wednesday's 124-115 loss to the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
Against his former team, Allen posted a season-high 20 points, which came on the back of a career-high six three-pointers. He's taken on a sizeable role in the bubble, now scoring at least 15 points in three straight games.

Allen posted 17 points (6-10 FG, 5-6 3Pt), two assists, one rebound and one steal in 31minutes off the bench during Monday's loss to the Pelicans.
EDGE Analysis
Allen came off the bench and finished the game as the Grizzlies' second-highest scorer, only behind Jaren Jackson's 22-point performance. Allen is not known for these scoring exploits, however, and he is not likely to maintain this level of performance moving forward, especially if he remains in the same bench role he's held all year long.

Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins said that Allen (hip) was a full participant Sunday in the team's practice, which included 5-on-5 work, Evan Barnes of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen hasn't played since Jan. 24 and was presumed to be out for the remainder of 2019-20 with an injury the team labeled as a left knee displacement back in March, but the NBA season's unexpected four-plus-month hiatus has apparently provided the third-year guard with enough time to return to full health. The 24-year-old's ability to practice without restrictions should make him an option off the bench for Jenkins when the Grizzlies return to action July 31 versus the Trail Blazers, but Allen will likely find himself behind Ja Morant, Dillon Brooks, De'Anthony Melton and Tyus Jones in the backcourt pecking order.

The Grizzlies officially ruled Allen (hip) out for the season earlier this month, Omari Sankofa II of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Memphis had been vague about Allen's recovery timeline since the left hip injury first surfaced in late January, even after his college coach, Mike Krzyzewski, leaked the news about a month ago that the second-year guard would be sidelined for the remainder of the season. The Grizzlies have now confirmed that Allen won't return in 2019-20, while also providing a new diagnosis for his injury, which is being termed a "left hip displacement." Allen will most likely be ready to go for the start of training camp in the fall.

Allen (hip) remains out indefinitely ahead of Monday's game against the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
The Grizzlies haven't put any sort of timeline on Allen's return to action since he was diagnosed with a sore left hip coming out of his Jan. 24 appearance against the Pistons. Allen's college coach at Duke, Mike Krzyzewski, let the news slip a few weeks ago that the swingman would be sidelined for the rest of the season, but the Grizzlies have yet to confirm as much. In any event, with no news surfacing that Allen is even close to returning to practice, he can safely be ruled out for all four of the Grizzlies' games during the upcoming week.

Allen (hip) remains out indefinitely due to a right hip injury.
EDGE Analysis
The Grizzlies have not commented on Allen's long-term prognosis, but he hasn't played since Jan. 26, so this is clearly more than a day-to-day injury. At this point, there's been no indication that Allen, who is listed as "out" on the injury report ahead of Monday's game, is close to returning to game action.

Allen (hip) was ruled out for Friday's game against the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year guard will miss both ends of the back-to-back set as he continues to deal with the left hip injury. Allen hasn't seen game action since Jan. 24 and remains without a timetable for his return.

Allen (hip) won't play in Thursday's contest with the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Allen will miss a 10th consecutive game due to an ongoing hip issue. Considering there were rumors floated last week that the Duke product could be held out for the remainder of the season, there's a good chance that Allen could be facing a significant absence, though the rumors have yet to be verified. His next chance of returning comes Friday against the Lakers.

Allen's (hip) college coach at Duke, Mike Krzyzewski, revealed Thursday that the second-year swingman could miss the remainder of the season. "Grayson is hurt and is out for the remainder of the season," Krzyzewski said, while discussing the three former Duke players on the Grizzlies' roster.
EDGE Analysis
Memphis has yet to verify or issue a response to Krzyzewski's comments, as the team has merely ruled Allen out indefinitely since he suffered the injury Jan. 24. Allen didn't accompany the Grizzlies for its three-game road trip that concludes Sunday in Washington, and at the very least, it's looking likely that he'll be in line for a lengthy absence that will extend through the All-Star break.
