Henderson (hip) is officially listed as probable for Wednesday's game against the Spurs, Jason Quick of CSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Henderson has been sidelined nearly five months now after getting surgery on his hip back in July. He's been participating in some 4-on-4 work recently and looks to finally be ready to make his season debut. His role has yet to be determined, but after C.J. McCollum's impressive start to the season, Henderson will likely come off the bench as his backup. We'll also have to wait and see if he's given any sort of minutes restriction in his return.

Henderson (hip) has been ruled out of Sunday's matchup with the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
Henderson has yet to play this season due to a hip injury that he suffered near the end of last season. He's participated in some 4-on-4 work during practice, but hasn't been cleared to return to the lineup. When he does return, though, look for him to backup C.J. McCollum at shooting guard. Consider Henderson doubtful for Monday's tilt with the Nuggets as well.

Henderson (hip) has officially been ruled out of Thursday's matchup with the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Henderson has been out since having hip surgery back in early July. He most recently was able to participate in some 4-on-4 work Tuesday, but he still isn't ready and will remain sidelined Thursday. As soon as he's back, Henderson will likely remain in a bench role considering the impressive start to the year from teammate C.J. McCollum.

Henderson (hip) said Wednesday that he expects to return to the Trail Blazers "soon," but didn't offer a definitive timetable, Jason Quick of CSN Northwest reports.
EDGE Analysis
Henderson was able to get some 4-on-4 contact work in during Tuesday's practice, but will likely require some more time on the court before the Blazers feel comfortable deploying him in games. The veteran guard was expected to challenge C.J. McCollum for a starting role during training camp, but his delayed recovery never allowed a job battle to materialize. With McCollum getting off to a hot start early on, Henderson will likely have to settle for a bench role once he's healthy enough to play.

Henderson (hip) is participating in live 4-on-4 contact play, Casey Holdahl of NBA.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is the first time that Henderson has engaged in contact play since his hip debridement surgery in July. Initially, the guard was supposed to be cleared and able to play for training camp, but he is taking longer to recover than expected. Henderson hasn't been officially ruled out, but it is unlikely that he will play in Wednesday's game against the Pelicans. Expect C.J. McCollum and Allen Crabbe to have increased minutes in his absence.

Henderson (hip) has officially been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.
EDGE Analysis
The fallout from Henderson's hip debridement surgery in early July has persisted longer than expected, as the veteran was originally supposed to be ready for training camp. Henderson has been participating in workouts as of late, which is a good sign, but until he returns to action, expect C.J. McCollum to fill the starting shooting guard role with Allen Crabbe seeing some minutes off the bench.

Henderson (hip) fit in solo shooting drills after Saturday's practice but has yet to be cleared for full contact, The Oregonian reports.
EDGE Analysis
The "extensive" workout also included drives and cuts, according to CSN Northwest, which is a step up from 5-on-0 drills with teammates a week ago. At this point in his recovery from offseason hip surgery, he isn't expected to be ready for the Blazers' season opener Wednesday against the Pelicans. Once he's cleared, he'll have to contend with CJ McCollum for minutes at two-guard.

Henderson (hip) is considered "unlikely" to be ready for the start of the regular season, per coach Terry Stotts, CSN NW reports.
EDGE Analysis
Henderson underwent hip surgery this offseason and is yet to be cleared for full contact, though he took part in 5-on-0 work at Thursday's practice. Stotts praised the veteran's work ethic but did not appear to be overly optimistic about his chances to play when the Blazers open the season on Oct. 28. C.J. McCollum projects to start alongside Damian Lillard in the backcourt, but Henderson should see a decent minutes load once he's healthy. The knock on Henderson is that he's among the worst three-point shooters in the league at his position, so that may ultimately prevent him from holding significant fantasy value.

Henderson (hip) took part on 5-on-0 work during Thursday's practice, Erik Gundersen of The Columbian reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Terry Stotts' words after the workout didn't seem to offer much insight into how close Henderson was to returning to full practice, so it's difficult to glean much from the news. At this point, Henderson can't be considered a lock to be healthy for the Oct. 28 regular-season opener against the Pelicans. The extensive time Henderson has missed could pave the way for Allen Crabbe to see more minutes than expected behind C.J. McCollum in the early stages of the season.

Henderson hasn't been cleared for full-contact drills and is unsure whether he'll be able to play in the opener on Oct. 28 against the Pelicans, Erik Gundersen of The Columbian reports.
EDGE Analysis
Henderson underwent a left hip debridement shortly after he was acquired from from the Hornets in late June, which is clouding his return to the court. Once he does so, he could be eased into action, while CJ McCollum handles two-guard. In the long run, coach Terry Stotts will have to make a decision on the Blazers' starting shooting guard, but Henderson's veteran status may give him an upper hand in the competition.
