The Rockets have nothing to play for in the final two games of the campaign, but VanVleet is ending the season on a strong note. He's averaged 20.8 points, 7.0 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game across his last 10 appearances.

VanVleet posted 37 points (13-22 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal across 38 minutes during Tuesday's 118-106 victory over the Magic.

VanVleet was spectacular in the win, scoring a season-high 37 points including six triples. Despite a few scoring lapses from time to time, VanVleet has put together a strong season. He is the 17th-ranked player in standard leagues, averaging 17.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 8.1 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.8 blocks and 3.0 three-pointers. He is arguably the face of the franchise in Houston, meaning his role is unlikely to change too much heading into the 2-24-25 season.

VanVleet produced 24 points (9-21 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), one rebound, 12 assists and one steal across 44 minutes during Sunday's 147-136 overtime loss to the Mavericks.

VanVleet registered his 20th double-double of the season Sunday, which is as many as he recorded with the Raptors over the previous two seasons. It was the first time since March 21 against the Bulls that he recorded 10-plus assists. VanVleet's scoring numbers are down in his first year in Houston, but he's averaging a career-high 8.1 assists. Over his last 10 games, he has averaged 17.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 7.6 assists and 2.3 steals over 36.5 minutes per game.

Similar to what happened with Jalen Green, VanVleet had a rough night from the three-point lead but still delivered a strong scoring line. VanVleet has not been at his best in recent weeks, though. He's failed to reach the 20-point mark in five of his last eight appearances, shooting just 41.4 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from deep. However, he still salvages his fantasy contributions due to strong peripheral stats that include 7.3 assists and 2.4 steals per game in that stretch.

VanVleet produced 22 points (9-24 FG, 4-14 3Pt), two rebounds, six assists, three blocks and four steals in 42 minutes during Friday's 101-100 win over Utah.

The Rockets pushed their winning streak to 11 games, and as has been the trend during that span, VanVleet delivered another solid showing. Even though his shooting figures weren't efficient Friday, as he ended with more shot attempts than points scored, VanVleet managed to reach the 20-point mark for the second time over his last seven appearances. The veteran floor general has averaged 16.1 points per game in that span despite shooting a subpar 38.3 percent from the field.

VanVleet provided 15 points (5-18 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals in 26 minutes during Monday's 110-92 victory over the Trail Blazers.

EDGE Analysis

VanVleet posted a solid all-around stat line in 26 minutes, as he found a way to contribute on both ends of the court, but he struggled in terms of efficiency with his shot. The veteran floor general has failed to surpass the 15-point mark in four of Houston's last five games, but that's also because Jalen Green has taken on a more prominent role as a scorer. Despite that cold stretch, VanVleet is averaging 18.8 points and 9.5 assists per game since the beginning of March.
